The disaffection in the postal ser-
vice in the provinces is spreading, being widely aggrieved by a report of lowering wages in a thousand offices.

The dockyard men at Brest announce that they will prevent the launch of the battleship Jean Bart until they get a rise in wages.
THE STRIKE PROSECUTIONS

Seven men charged with participating in the Lithgow riots have been committed for trial.
Two others charged with interfering with witnesses were fined. The Government propose to prosecute Mr and his manager over the strike.
