The German army manoeuvres are being carried on in clear, winiless weather, enabling the aviators to obtain complete details of the dispositions of the rival armies. Experts believe that it will be hopeless in the future to .-.ttempt to hide the movements of a force from the enemy in clear weather.

The consistently trustworthy reconnaisances by air scouts have been the feature of the Belmont manoeuvres.
Tne Minister for War (M, Messiny) has recommended that the aviators Auibrun, Leggganeux. Martinet, Tabuteau and Vedrines should be decorated with Crosses of the Lesion of Honor.
