BAND AND BRIGADE ART UNION.
THE DEAWING. The drawing for prizes in the art union promoted to raise funds for the Hamilton Brass Band and Fire Brigade, took place in St. Peter's Schoolroom last evening. Tnere was a very large attendance of ticket holders and others, 'lhe draw was oonducted by Mr W. C. Davis, deputy-Mayor, the numbers being drawn by several little girls. Ihe prize winners were as follows : Ist, 1157, Mrs Harwood, Tauranga; 2nd, 308, Mrs Crombie, Auckland; 3rd, 449, J. E. Webber, < ambrid*e; 4th, 791, Mrs Geo. Lucey, Hamilton; sth, 904, B. Lindsay, Hamilton East; 6th, 1533, W. Kolium.n, Hamilton; 7th, 1579, Mrs ij. Harwood, T.mranga; Bth, 896, Amelia Redtbawi Huntly; 9th, 1360, E. Burgess, Hamilton; 10th, 1400, O. Lorri«an, Hamiltonlltb, 1918, T. Vallalley, Whatawhata; 12th, 1124, Mr T. Harwood, Hamilton j 13tb, 188, Karl Von Stunner, Kirikiriroa'; 14th, 2816, J. Booth, Hamilton; loth, 669, J. Ingram, H .milton; 16th, 1467, M. G. Farrer, Kirikiriroa; 17th, 2523, Miss Hay, Hiinilton; 18th, 1413, J. I'idd, Hamilton; 19th, 105, Vera Hay, Hamilton; 20th, 894, B. The sale of articles left over from the bazaar was not held, and they will be offered by auction at Messrs Davis and Co.'s mart tomorrow. At the oonclußion of the art union draw, a ralße took place for fishing tackle, with the result that Mr U. .Rowland seoured first prize, and Mr A. Innes the second.
