The Motor Regulation Bill was put through committee unamended and reported. The Council adjourned at 4.40 p.m. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House met at 2.30 p.m. RETURNS. Returns for the names of landowners all over the colony who owned over the .£50,000 limit of unimproved value were ordered, also a return of railway officers of not less than (10 yearn of age. HREACH OK PRIVILEGE. A breach of privilege motion was passed referring the whole i|ue.stion of dealing with such matters to the Standing Orders Committee. RECIPROCITY TREATY. , One week's further time was granted to the Commerce Committee for c msideration and tlie House adj mrued at 5.30 p.m. IMMIGRATION RKSTICTION BILL. The House resumed at 7.20 p.m. The Immigration Restriction Act Amendment Bill was committed. The Hon. J. McQowan said he did not wish to see the Bill passed in it 3 present form because it might inflict hardships on a number of criminals who had served their sentences and desired to reform by escaping from surroundings in which they were known. QUACKS AND OTHER FRAUDS. This Bill was reported on. The Quackery and Other Frauds Prevention Bill being committed a stonewall was setup and at 11.15 p.m the House rose without any progress having been made.
