Mr J. S. Reid has been appointed rugiitrar of births, deaths and marriages at Huntly. b To-day, Mr C. Horanell, stationmaster at Hamilton, goes on three weeks' leave, which will be spent in Auckland and at " the front." Mr Rigiey, assistant relieving officer, takes charge of Hamilton.

FACTS ESTABLISHED AT COURT.
