It is stated that a Conference of the Conservative party has been summoned for to-morrow to consider the propriety of a dissolution taking place. Lord Salisbury will probably threaten his party with it unless he is loyally supported and the business of the country advanced. Mr W. H. Smith, on behalf of the Government, will submit a motion to secure that the present session shall close earlier than usual in the direction of Sir H. Trevelyan's motion. Mr Caine states that Mr Goschcn favours a dissolution after Easter. The Government was defeated by a small majority on one of the clauses of the Rights of Way Bill for Scotland. Lord Randolph Churchill refuses to resign, owing to the limited character of the censure passed 011 hira by his constituents. The Comte de Paris has expressed his warm approval of the action of the Due d'Orleans. The spirits of the Royalists are rising.
