(BY TELEGRAPH —OWN COIiKUSi'ONDENT.) Auckland, Wednesday. A TwiSLVU-liooJlEU house at Mount Albert, owned by Henry J. Sella re, was totally destroyed l>y fire at 3 o'clock this morning. It was insured for £4">o in the South British, and the furniture for £350 in the Union.
The sale of prize poultry at Aiken's Mart to-day was not successful, only half-a-dozen pens selling. Mr Harrow, of Lake Takapuna, has arranged with Mr Adam Cairns, of the Star Hotel, to take over the management of his new hotel at Lake Takapuna.
