CONSOLIDATION OF LOANS.
[BY TELEGRAPH—own CORUESI'ONUKXT.I Wellington, Wednesday. The Premier approves of Mr Westgarth's proposals for the consolidation of the loans of all the Australasian colonies in 3 per cent stocks. He thinks the practical result of the suggestions may be beneficially felt by the colonies in four or five years, but it will take fully that time for them to have any etfect.
