Sydney. March 17. Another fatal colliery accident is reported from Newcastle, the workings of the Ferndale pit being flooded yesterday. One man is known to have been drowned and another is missing. Sailed last night:— Tarawera for Auckland.
Adelaide, Friday. Crooks and Wilson, manager and accountant of the Commercial Bank of South Australia, have surrendered to a warrant for their arrest on a charge* of appropriating £7080 belonging to the Brink.
