OAMARU, Sunday.

A fire occurred at half-past one o'clock this morning in the drapery premises of Mr M. J. Robertson. The building was of atone, and the flames were confined to it, although the premises on each side were slightly damaged. The fire was first noticed in the upper storey, but owing to the inability of the fire brigade to reach tho small windows, and to the fact that the fire had a firm hold of the placp before they arrived, none of the stock was saved. The building was insured for £500 in the South British, and £300 in the National. The stock was insured for £500 in the South British, and £000 in the New Zealand.
