The Army and Navy Gazette says that a circular has btvn. or will immediately be, issued to commanding officers of Yolwnteers informing them that unless two-thirds of the number of men on the muster-roll appear on parade on the occasion of the annual inspection, their corps may be prepared for immediate disbandment or amalgamation. The American papers are advertising "Albert Lunel," a novel by Lord Brougham. It was written by the late Lord Brougham in 1844, but for private reasons of the author was not. published.
