WAGE COT OPPOSED'

BY TEXTILE WORKERS MELBOURNE STRIKE ENDORSED MELBOURNE, Last Night. A stormy meeting of 1000 metropolitan textile workers endorsed a strike at all mills in Melbourne to-morrow. The workers refused to accept the offer of the employers for a settlement of the dispute on a basis of 74 per cent., instead of the 15 per cent, reduction of wages allowed for by the cost or living adjustment. About 9000 workers will be affected.
