Mr. Cyril Grassby, additional police superintendent at Dacca, was shot and wounded by a young Bengali when driving home from his office. Mr. Grassby stopped at a level crossing. Two Bengalis opened the gates, fired at him and then bolted. Mr. Grassby’s guards pursued them and fired. They wounded and captured one of the men, but the other escaped.
