WHANGAREI, This Day.

Clifford Spencer Dahlin, alias Power, and Reginald Clarence Williams, alias Reader, were committed for trial on charges of conspiring to defraud George Poyner, a farmer of Waiotira of £l2OO, and with stealing £l2OO from Poyner. It is alleged that the money was paid on account of four sections at Ponsonby on which they a great glass works was to be built. Accused were traced to Australia and arrested.
