TUB MONTHLY MEETING GENERAL BUSINESS The monthly meeting of the Waipukurau Plunkct Society 'was held in the Salvation Army Hall on Tuesday afternoon, Miss N. Wilson, president, presiding over a full attendance. At the society’s request the county council sent word to say they had reduced the rent of the Plunket rooms to £1 a week. —Received with thanks.
As the society is badly in need of funds to carry on the work it was decided to hold an entertainment early in Juno.
Nurse Signail’s report was as fol-
lows: —• Visitors to rooms. — Waipukurau, adults 146, babies 113, children 9, total 275. Takapau, adults 28, babies 21, children 2, total 51. Visits to homes, Waipukurau 99, Takapau 24. New cases, Waipukurau 5, Takapau 1; of these five were normal in indigestion with overfeeding, all being naturally fed. Letters received, 5; letters written 3. ■ Karilac sales, 511bs, Harlol and Kuril, 181bs. Cases under care, Waipukurau 178, Takapau 64.
