I The Palmerston North executive of the Public Servants’ Association as- i sociated itself with the Dunedin and Auckland associations in stating that the petitions against the wage cuts were willingly signed by business men in the city. The best feeling exists between the local business people and the public service, and several friendly conferences took place between their association and retailers and the Chamber of Commerce.
