CHARGE OF THEFT
ARREST AT LOWER HUTT OF TRENTHAM RESIDENT (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON. This Day. Harry Clarence Borny, of 1 rent-ham, was arrested at the Lower Hutt last evening, charged with the theft oi a gold brooch, wristlet watch, locket, carring. and silver coin, the property of Walter Smart. The, goods are alleged to have been taken from Smart’s shop in Willis Street, Wellington, on Tuesday and were recovered by Detective McLcm nan in the. bush at Trcntham.
