RESULTS OF BOARDINGS, FOR WEEK END MAY 6. Mr R. Pengclly, who is in charge of the boring operations, reported to the board on the results of tho bores he had put down at the Breakwater during the week -ended May 6th, Details of these were: — No. 18.—6 to 27 feet, water; 27 to 33 feet, silt; 33 to 35 feet, harder papa. No. 19—0 to 29 feet, water, 29 to 35 feet s.lt; papa at 3,5 feet. No. 20. —0 to. 29 feet water; 29 to 35 feet, silt. No. 21.—0 to 18 feet, water; 18 to 35 feet, soft papa. No.-22. —0 to 20 feet, water; 30 to 35 feet, soft papa.
No. 23 —0 to 20 feet water, 20 to 35 feet, soft papa.
