The death of the Prime Minister w H be commemorated in Waipukurau by a special tin denominational service., The fu.net pn is to be held at 2.30 on the School ground, if weather permits. His Worship- the Mayor (Mr E. A. Goodgcr), Rev, Canon Rice and Rev, Ferguson Fish will address the gathering. All local cit izens are- invited to attend and shops have Jieen asked to. close from. 1 p.m. If the weather be not fine- the ceremony will be held in St, Andrew’s Sunday School. At the meeting of the Patangata County Council yesterday a vote of sympathy to the relatives of the laid Prime Minister, moved by Mr C. Patti, son was carried in silence. A like- motion, moved by Mr W. H. Rathbone, who paid an eloquent tribute to the late Prune Minister was passed at the Hospital Boardd meeting to day. The Board adjourned for lifteen minutes as a token of respect.
