SPECIAL MEETING! HELD. AIATTERS TEMPERATE. A special meeting -of th-Qi W.C.T.U. was held on Thursday evening Tb receive the report of the delegate (Airs Major) who attended the Dominion convention, held in Dunedin, There was a good attendance of members and the report was most interesting, and no doubt the information .gained will prove most helpful Jn the coming temperance campaign. A vote of thanks was accorded Airs Alajor for her very full report, also to Airs Smales for her kindness in having the meet.ng at her home. It has been decided that the first- Band of Hope meeting for this winter will be held at the Alethodist Hall on Friday evening netx commencing at 7 o’clock.
