QUESTION OF NEW PREMISES. TOUCHED BY BOROUGH COUNCIL. “I take this opportunity of thanking the Council and yourself for the valuable assistance you have, rendered and for the expeditious manner in which the work of fitting up the temporary surgery has been carried out.’’ wrote the Department of Health to the Borough Council at its meeting on Monday, referring to the newly established Dental Clinic. His Worship the Mayor (Mr E. A. Goodger): Then there is the question of some other arrangements regarding premises. . He pointed out that the Council were at present using a shop, the rent for which would be of more value to tne Council than would the expenditure for another building cost. He urged that they should take the Waipukurau County building at present used as offices by the Power Board. Cr. R. McLean: But some other time would do for that. The Mayor: lOh. yes, by next meeting will do. The matter then dropped .
