COMMERCIAL.
These is little intelligence of a local nature tor | report this week. Wool continues to come into the market, 166 bales having beeu received this week coastwise, in . addition to 236 bales which have been entered in. wards at the Custom House, as the amouut brought from the Kai Koras in five successive trips of the Randolph. The market is at present well supplied with fat stock and store cattle. Sheep are also plentiful. The export cattle trade during the week, has beeu dull owing to the prevalence of S.E. winds. Messrs G. H. Luxford & Co supply|us with the following quotations. Fat stock £10 per head, store cattle £4 lOs, fat sheep £1 ls, store sheep 15s. The wholesale price for beef in this market is 3}d., and butter 4jd. per lb. In Colonial produce the following are the latest, quotations. Flour per 2000 lbs £U to J.15, Sharps per 100 lbs 8s to 9s, Bran per 20 lba ls 3d to Is od. Baoon is very soarce and in demand at lid per lb* Butter is ls 6 id perlb ; aud potatoes are quoted at £8 10s to £9 per ton. There have been no arrivals coastwise of the latter article, whioh iB getting scarce.
