ILL-FATED TASMAN FLIGHT
FUND FOR WIDOWS OF THE VICTIMS TOTAL OF £2158 By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, this day. The total amount collected for the Hood-Moncrieff fund was £2156 and after payments had been made to the widows and Mrs Moncrieff, senr., £1686 remained. At a final meeting of the committee this was allocated so that the widows"should receive a further £443 each and the remainder will go to the old lady. Discontent w r as expressed at what w r as considered the poor result of the collection.
