WRECK OF THE ISABELLA DE FRAINE
REASON OP DISASTER STILL A PUZZLE NO SIGN OF BODIES OF CREW By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, this day. There is no sign of the hull of the wrecked schooner Isabella de Fraine, wrecked on the Hokianga Harbour bar on Saturday, and though a search was conducted for 20 miles nothing was seen of the bodies of the crew. A little cargo came ashore and wreckage was found as far north as Whangape. The reason of the disaster is still a puzzle as the harbourmaster says that the sea was moderate and that the vessel came in all right. She then suddenly broached and turned over.
