The agreement operates till March 31, the miners pledging them,selves meanwhile to co-operate to increase the output to the utmost, also to prepare a wages scheme to take the place of the present temporary agreement. ... The South Wales Miners* Federation, also the Lancashire executive, is advising the miners to' reject the settlement terms. Yorkshire, Leicestershire, and Nottinghamshire executives are advising acceptance. Derbyshire has taken a neutral attitude. K ' It is confidently forecasted that a majority of the miners will favour resumption.
