ANGLO-FRENCH LOANS

FRENCH SHARE BEING LIQUIDATED. Received—August 20, 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, August 18. Following on a conference between French Treasury representatives and the J. P. Morgan Co. it was announced that preparations had been made for the liquidation of the French share of the Anglo-French, loan raised in the United States. It was pointed out that the French tobacco monopoly was not included within the liquidation plans.
