RECENT APPOINTMENTS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 21. The following appointments of inspectors and surveyors under the Waterside Workers’ Regulations, have been made: Captains Dillner, Wellington; M. P. Evans, "Wellington; W. W. Stuart, Auckland; W. F. Clark, Wellington; W. Gordon, Picton; and two others consideration. Mr A. H. Kimhell, Land' Purchase Officer, Public Works Department, has been appointed Under-Secretary for Mines, in succession to Mr H. J. H. Blow, who has held tho position temporarily during the" war.

Dr E. H. Wilkins has been appointed Superintendent Medical and Physical Instruction, under the Education Department.
