AUCKLAND BUTCHERS' STRIKE.

THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 21. There was a new development of the butchers’ strike to-day, the carters out-, side of the butchery trade refusing to supplies from the city aboard vessels in the port. This affected supplies for the Home liner Arawa. To provide for the voyage from Auckland to Wellington, the, chief steward and his staff carried sufficient. They went aboard in Indian fashion, pausing now and again for rest. They carried aboard many hundred pounds of meat. The carters also refuse to cart meat from the railway station for the Auckland City. The Meat Company Butchers, however, re-opened two more shops. The public are taking kindly to frozen meat, and are surprised to find it is so much like newly-killed.
