Six more cases of influenza have been reported from the quarantine station, six being from the Niagara, including one amongst the passengers landed. Some of the earlier patients are" convalescent, and others are making good progress.

AN UNSATISFACTORY POSITION.

AUCKLAND, April 8,

The Mayor has forwarded the Minister for Public Health a resolution passed at a meeting of passengei's booked to leave by tho Niagara, asking that the present most unsatisfactory position be terminated immediately to enable the steamer to be thoroughly fumigated; and the voyage continued.
