NELSON, June 14. At Riwaka, William Krainer, junior, employed at C. Stade's, was caught in the belting- of the machinery, and dashed to death. The deceased was a young man. / with a family.

A woman named ■ Constance Woodley, aged 39 years, wife of a farm labourer at Konini, died this morning as a result of taking "rough on rats.' Ap inquest is to be held.
