BLENHEIM, June 12. , In the Divorce Court to-day, a decree nisi was granted to Isabella Warry Gregg against William Gregg, on the grounds of persistent cruelty and habitual drunkenness.

CHRISTCHURCH, June 12. Jane Annie Thompson petitioned for the dissolution of her, marriage with Samuel Thompson, who did not appear and who was not represented by counsel. The parties were married on August 15th, 1904, and lived for a few months in Dunedin and for four years in Milburn. Since January, 1900, petitioner had not seen the respondent, who had left to go to Wellington, and had afterwards gone to Sydney. The- respondent was a. hMo's steward, tut had been farming at Milburn. A board-insfhousc-keeper stated that the respondent had stayed at her house in 15)07, and Ind stated that lie was goin<* Home to his wife in Scotland, and asked her to forward his letters to an addrere he gave. Later, the boardinghonse-keeper received a letter from "Marion Thompson," thanking her for forwarding the letters. His Honour granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months.
