Serious Accident.

PALMERSTON N., June 13.

While Dugald Matheson, a well-known farmer, and his widowed sister-in-law were driving to church yesterday morning, a motor-car frightened the pony in the Square, with the result that the trap was overturned. Matheson sustained scalp wounds and Mrs Matheson had her left arm broken. Both were taken to a private hospital. The motorists went right on without rendering assistance.
