THE CANADIAN "KILTIES."

The "Kilties," the greatest ' Scottish Band in the world, headed by their giant drum-majors, will appear in Wanganui on Monday, 23rd inst. This band twice playod by command before the King aad pleased him hugely. The band consists of over forty members, and. includes the world famous quartette of national dancers, tho Clan Johnstone Troupe, from Dundee, Scotland, also a male choir of twenty voices. This is one of the mr,st notable band engagements that Australia has ever been offered. Great difficulties along the rpad have been, experienced in the finding of sleeping accommodation for tho monster drum-majors, as no ordinary beds will hold their length. Tale.s are told of three beds being placed side by eido and tho giants stretching their combined inches across them.
