TIIE BURNS— SQUIRES' BATTLE.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

The Dominion, speaking of the extraovdiuaiily successful biograph reproduction of the now famous JSurus — Squirro battle, which will be shown at the Opera JJouse on Friday and Saturday evenings, says: — "The kincmaiograph representation of the Burns-Squires fight attracted another crowded house to the. Theatre Koyal last evening, and it is safe to say that before the season, closes a very large section of the population of Wellington will bo able to say that they have witnessed the fight. They can say so with a fine circumstantial air of truth, for the picture is really an admirable one, so realidtic indeed that many in last evening's audience became excited enough to urge their favourite on to victory." Another animated view shown represented the opening of the Olympic sports and a series of pictures of the national teams competing in the calisthenic competitions. There- are also a number of pictures in lighter vein to give variation to what is an excellent picture show. Bill Squires will appear in person, and give a. description of the fight, and show the various exercises indulged in by atheletea iv training for fiatie honours. The season is limited to Friday and Saturday e\onings.
