Tlie public sittings of the Supreme Court were concluded on Saturday, and this morning Hie Honor, the Chief Justice, sitting in chambers, heard the motion of Dr. Wall (Mr Cohen), taking exceptions to the official receiver's report in the case of Wall v. Porritt, who dissolved partnership in July of last year. The exceptions were for certain accounts written off by Dr. Porritfe. Mr Corry appeared for Dr. Porritt, and Mr Gordon for the official received. Dr. Porritt was examined at length with regard to a number of accounts he has reduced, after having received something on account, and as to his reasons for reducing such accounts, also as to a number of attendances entered in hie diary, but which had not been charged, for. He was further examined at to whether lie had received payments for attendances and had not entered such payments in hia diary. After hearing Dr. Porritt's evidence, and an address by Mr Cohen, his Honour ordered that three of the accounts mentioned in the proceedings should be accounted for.
