Dalgety and Co., Limited, report under date September 11: — We report having held our usual fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow yesterday afternoon. The following \vei<3 prices realised: — Wool — Market firm at late rates. We quote: — Crutchings, medium 6sd to 6.^d, inferior 5Jd to Gd, inferior lleeco BJ<l, dead Gsd to 7^d, good prices 7d, washed pieces 4|d.

Horse hair Is 5d per lb. Skins. — Market very firm at late rates and if anything, showed a slight advance on last sale prices. We quote: Good crossbred 8M to 9d, inferior crossbred "6£d lo BJd, hoggets Bd, dead and broken GJd to 7Jd, half bred 8d to 9d, lambs (dead) 7*d to 7jd, crossbred short Bd, green (nothing hw.vy offering) inferior 4s Gd to G3 2d, medium 7a* to 7s lid.

Hides. — Market showed an advance of id per lb, and all lots were keenly competed for. Quotations: — Prime ox 6d to 6Jd, inferior ox si|d to s£d, ox cut and slippy 4cl to o^d, good cow 5Jd t6 <3J, inferior cow 53d to 5Jd, cut and elippy 4<d to ogd, bulls Id to 4Jd, calfskins 6d, cut and slippy 3d to s^d. Cow tails Is Gd per dozen. Glue pieces, 5s yd per cwt. Home, 7s per 100. Shank bones, 3s 3d per cwt. Tallow. — The market advanced Is per cwt. Prime in casks 24a 6d, in tins 16s 9d to 18s :3d, rough fat 14s 9d to 18s 9d.
