«_i — Next Wednesday and Thursday in Wanganui. Fitzgerald Bros.' combined shows (including Carl Hageubeck's Zoological Circus, direct from Hamburg) arrive in Wanganui next Wednesday morning by special train and open the same day, giving a matinee on Thursday afternoon and a farewell performance that evening. One of our exchanges, after a flattering criticism, says :— As a grand finale a monster tricycle is introduced, and upon this the elephant rides bestridden by Leo, guiding the machine round the ring with her trunk, and pedalling as though she enjoyed it. Then Leo's oage is opened, and, . at a word from his keeper, with two bounds he is inside and safelj barred. The Circus will appear in Marton on Tuesday evening, arriving by special train.
