A further conference was held in the afternoon, at which various proposals for a settlement of the printers’ dispute were discussed. *-• After a full and frank review from both sides, the Union representatives withdrew, and it was expected that the crucial decision will tye made to-morrow afternoon. —(P.A.) ■ At 1.30 p.m. to-day there was no alteration in the position.
