PARK CLUB. CLOSING DAY. The Park Club wiU be closing its green on Saturday and immediately afterwards will commence operations for top-dressing and preparing for a first class green for next season. The little green will be kept open for play for some weeks yet. To celebrate the end of a very successful season the club is holding a social evening in the Foresters’ Hall next Tuesday evening when the prizes won during the season will be presented and a good musical programme provided. < The champion of champions pairs will be continued and the champion rinks commenced at Carterton on Saturday at 1 p.m. The following will represent the Masterton Bowling Club in a game with the Carterton Bowling Club on the Masterton Club’s green to-morrow:— Haycraft, Biggs, Smith, Nielsen (s), Hendry, Dunderdale, D. Evans, Dyer (s); Graham; Russell, McCullough, Hayne (s); Guild, Malmo, Hughes, Maxwell (s); Delaney, McCracken, Hunter, F. Evans (s); Brady, Beecroft, Roberts, Jones (s). The following will represent the Masterton Bowling Club in the Champion of Champion Fours to-morrow:—Chris-tian, F. Davey, Wilkinson, Morton (s).
