SHARES TRANSFER

ALLEGATIONS OF FRAUD. AUCKLAND, This Day. John Septimus Payne, aged 42, a salesman, and Richard Albert Dailey, aged 40, a company director, were remanded to-day on a charge of making a false document, a transfer for 12 shares in Xtravac Limited, with intent that it be acted on as genuine. Counsel for accused asserted that the charge arose from a company squabble and had been actuated by malice. Bail was allowed both men, the police offering no objection.—(P.A.)
