DISCUSSION AT GENEVA. RUGBY, Thursday. The International Labour Office Conference, after a discussion on a 40-hour week, rejected the proposal by 31 votes to 21, there being 21 abstentions. The resolution, supported by Government delegates, asked for a cVtinued examination of the different aspects and methods of working a 40-hour week, was carried by 41 votes to 21, with 7 abstentions.
