KAITAIA MURDER
ACCUSED REMANDED. KEPT UNDER OBSER VATION. AUCKLAND, 1 Tuesday. . Riri Manuel, a Maori youth, aged 17, was charged at the S.M. Court, Auckland, to-day, that on Bth January, at Kaitaia, he murdered Hati Wira -Houkomau Rapihana. Detective-Sergeant McHugh obtained a remand to. 24th January. He said the accused was in Auckland for observation. —(CP. A.)
