The ownership of the racehorse Croupier was finally decided by the Appeal Court yesterday, when it delivered its judgment on Mr Gorry’s appeal from the decision of Sir Alexander Herdsman in the Supreme Court at Auckland. The Appeal Court holds that the parties have been as from Ist August, 1931, co-owners of the horse in the proportion of one half, one fourth and ono fourth respectively. Tho judgment of Six- Alexander Merdman in the Supreme Court was varied to this extent, but subject to that the judgment stands. Soatcliings announced for the Wellington meeting are as follow: —Royal Routine, Tradesmen, Stanchion, Distortion and Enjoyment.
