ARRESTS CONTINUE BOYCOTT DEFINITELY FAILED. Press Association Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received Tuesday, 9.10 a.m.) CALCUTTA, Monday. Arrests continue under the various special ordinances passed to forestall the revival of disobedience, but, on the whole, India is cjuiter than it has been for years past. The foreign goods boycott lias definitely failed. The latest development in the Indian Government’s campaign for the suppression of illegal activities is the restriction placed upon British missionaries, who are evincing active sympathy for the Congress movement. Two have been arrested and a third defiorted.
