TRAGIC HAPPENINGS,

AUCKLAND, Monday

A schoolteacher, Gwendoline Constance Annie Dunckley, aged 23, was found dead this morning in her uncle s house, where she was spending a few days on holiday. She was engaged to be married, but her fiance died on Saturday in the Auckland Hospital. At the inquest to-day, a verdict that she committed suicide by gas poisoning was returned.
