STRUCK BY CAR

CYCLISTS INJURED. LEVIN, This Day. ' Two young men, Erie Barrett and of;-...Wellington, were seriously injured in a collision between the motor-cycle they were riding and a car driven by Julian Foster, also of Wellington, which occurred six miles south of Levin last evening. The motor-cyclists were travelling north and, when rounding a corner at Kuku, crashed into the car. Barrett received a compound fracture of the right leg and Smith a badly crushed foot. Both are suffering from general shock. They were removed to the Palmerston North Hospital, where their condition is reported to be serious.

Tho car driver was not injured but the car was badly damaged.
