MINISTER OF EDUCATION

TO VISIT MASTERTON. TO-MORROW AFTERNOON. - Mr G. R. Sykes, M.P., received' advice this morning that the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, would visit Masterton to-morrow. It is anticipated that he will arrive shortly after lunch, and will be met by the Mayor (Mr T. Jordan), borough councillors, and other local body representatives. Although the notice of the Minister ’s visit is short, it is likely that a deputation will meet him to discuss educational matters affecting the secondary schools, and also to present the petition signed by a large proportion of the citizens of Masterton favouring a separate Technical Sehool. ■
