MOTOR CARS COLLIDE.

THREE PEOPLE INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association). /WELLINGTON, Tuesday. - Tavo motor cars collided shortly after 8 e’clock to-night in Ngahauranga Gorge, at the identical spot Avhere Mr and Mrs Cook, of Johnsonville, were killed in a collision a few Aveeks ago. Three people Avere injured and removed to the Wellington Hospital. It is believed that the injuries are not veryserious. The -.injured people are: Mrs Alfred E. Earl, contused Avound on the right eye, slight injuries to back, and shock; Mrs Kane, head injuries and shock; A. Kane, a number of small cuts from broken glass, and shock. Mr and Mrs Earl, who were accompanied by Mr and Mrs Kane, had come from Napier and A\ r ere on their way to an hotel in Wellington. The steering gear Avcnt Avrong and the car became uncontrollable.

At the same time, A. Regers, of Wellington, Avas proceeding up the hill toAA'ards the corner. Ho noticed at once that there was something wrong with the other car, Avhieh Avas coming over the road. He pulled well over to the left just ever a bridge and had almost stopped when the oncoming car crashed into the side of his car. ( The two cars, badly damaged, came to a stop within a couple of yards of the bank.
