MAIL BAGS RIFLED.
AT A RAILWAY STATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, This Day. On Saturday 1 evening the mail bags containing the outward mail from Raurimu and Kaitieke were placed iu a box on the railway station to be lifted when the express went through at three o’clock on Monday morning. The discovery was made on Sunday that the mail box had been rifled, the bags having been cut open and all the contents stolen.
