July 2nd.—Barograph, 30.30. Shade temperature: Maximum 55.4, minimum. 51.8, terrestrial 29.4, bright sunshine 6 hours 12 minutes. The bright sunshine for the month ended June 30th, 1925, was 75 hours 6 minutes. The average for the previous 13 years, 106 hours 5 minutes; previous maximum, 1916, 142 hours 30 minutes; previous minimum, 1925, 68 hours 54 minutes. The mileage of wind for the month of June, 2222. There were 16 frosts. The rainfall for the month ended June 30th, 1928, was 4.45, on 19 days. Maximum, 1.14, on June 11th. The average for the previous 17 years, 3.33. Previous maximum in 1927, 7.91; previous minimum, in 1913, 1.02. Six months ended June 30th, 19.40. The average previous 17 years, 17.51; previous maximum, 1923, 25.36; previous minimum, 1919, 11.28.
